»The White Silence« is a short story by Jack London, first published in 1899. JACK LONDON [1876-1916] was an American author who, during his short life, wrote a total of 49 novels and numerous short stories. Before his debut, he had been a hobo, sailor, and gold prospector. The novels Martin Eden, The Iron Heel, and The Sea-Wolf were burned during the book burnings around Nazi Germany in 1933.
